New Painting

The latest RvB piece...

Having a bit of success in the gallery with four of the first five pieces already sold. This new piece will be joining two others that I will be taking in to the gallery tomorrow.

Ninja Kitti

2 paintings finished in one day! The advantage of having multiple canvases on the go at one time. Its interesting how the paint of canvas technique forces you to work much differently to working digitally.

Plus I get to spend time in the sun and get paint all over myself! :)

Latest RvB Painting

Just put the finishing touches on my latest RvB painting. Did this one on a much larger canvas: 762mm x 1016mm. Enjoyed the freedom that a much larger canvas provides.

Development hits full steam

At times I feel like I have neglected this little project: RvB.

Things though have now started to hit full steam. Coming soon will be a fully fleshed out story and world for RvB, with a growing cast of characters and several projects in the works. On the near horizon are a couple of new paintings and a couple of projects that should help establish a better sory for the RvB world.

In the meantime - here are a few development sketches that I've been scribbling down lately. They're just a small portion of what I've been sketching but I'll reveal more as a couple of projects come closer to fruition.

Great first week in Gallery

Its been a great first week for the Rabbit v Bear paintings in the Artboy Gallery.

So far in the first week they've been featured in the front windo and 3 of the 5 pieces have already sold. One piece is even on its way to Seattle.

Its an awesome result and serious thanks have to go out to Marc at Artboy!

WIP

New Work in Progress

Working on this as a new hero piece for my Rabbit Verses Bear series. Planning on doing this as a large canvas.

Also should working on upgrading this blog with more info on what RvB is about, character profiles, updated branding etc.

New Paintings

Two new paintings, and also introducing a new character to the RvB universe: Gun Puppy. After all Bear can't fight all those crazy rabbits on his own. Everybody needs friends :)
